Haryana Gramin Bank is the first bank to declare vacancies for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale-I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) based on the IBPS RRB II 2013.

The start date for registration is 21.11.2013 and last date for registration is 06.12.2013. Last date for payment of fees is 06.12.2013.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):- Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- CWE-II conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2013 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates f or final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/OBC/UR category.

For Officer Scale-I:- Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- CWE-II conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2013 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW:
Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call from among who have applied to Bank, the number, equivalent to three times the number of vacancies short-listed based on their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS). Remaining applicants, if any will not receive an interview call from the Bank. The total marks for Interview will be 30 out of total 100 marks allotted for written test & Interview.

INTERVIEW CENTRE:
The Interview will be held at the Rohtak centre and the date of Interview & address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The date of Interview & address of the venue will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.

Following previous year pattern again it is first to declare the vacancies. This year it has less vacancies in comparison to the previous year. This year vacancies is less than previous year. Chances are there for cutoff being high.

The next online CWE for selection of personnel in Participating Organisations listed below ordinated by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).

Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in CWE, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by IBPS.

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 25.11.2013 to 16.12.2013 (only through Online payment mode) both dates inclusive]
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Rs. 600 /- for all others



HOW TO APPLY
Candidates can apply online only from 25.11.2013 to 14.12.2013 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

EXAM PATTERN

INTERVIEW
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination for CWE SPL-III will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in. Please note that any request regarding change in date, centre etc. of interview will not be entertained. However the conducting agencies reserve the right to change the date/ venue/ time/ centre etc. of interview or hold supplementary process for particular date / session / venue / centre / set of candidates at itsdiscretion, under unforeseen circumstances, if any. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. Theminimum score required in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (SPL-III) and interview will be 80:20. The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in CWE (SPL-III) and Interview. A candidate should found suitable both in the CWE and interview to be shortlisted forsubsequent allotment process, details of which will be available subsequently on IBPS website.

ALLOTMENT
On completion of the interview process, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. A candidate who is shortlisted and so allotted willforfeit his/her candidature/ chance for the process if he/she does not avail the offer of appointment from the Participating Organisation.
The decision of IBPS in provisional allotment of a candidate to a Participating Organisation shall be final and binding upon the selected candidates. However IBPS reserves the right to cancel and reallot Organisation-wise allocation depending upon exigencies or otherwise. Offer of appointment is solely the decision of the Participating Organisations andshall be final and binding. IBPS has no role here.

Next Exam in October

Few years ago, recruitments were handled by banks individually based on their requirements.

 

To fasten hiring activities in public banks, Indian govt. decided to bring in separate common written examinations for PO, clerks & specialist officers in the year 2011 which are now conducted once a year

 

Since then, IBPS is responsible for conducting CWE, interviews & allotting qualified candidates to one of the 19 participating banks.(State bank of India & its associates are not part of this group)

 

The IBPS PO CWE 2013 announcement has been declared by the institute.As per it, the PO common exam is to be conducted in the month of October.See IBPS PO Common Exam 2013 page for more details.

 

 

What Are The New Rules?

There are eligibility conditions for any exam or job which the applicants must fulfill inorder to submit their applications.Any change in those conditions is bound to affect the aspirants both positively & negatively.

 

IBPS PO 2013 common exam notification is to come out with changes proposed by the Government of India.In October 2012 the ministry of finance had sent letters to IBPS & public banks detailing the new rules

 

Some of the important points in that communication were:

• Agelimit: 20 – 30years (PO & Clerk) for general category


• Education: Pass in degree

These conditions were recently amended for IBPS PO CWE 2013 because of the mass agitation by student bodies across India.

 

How Many Vacancies?  

Two common exams for PO/MT posts have taken place so far on September 2011 & March 2012.

 

The no. of positions created by banks for passouts over the past two years averages around 20,000.

 

For the year 2013-14 around 21,000 – 24,000 bank jobs could be on offer for IBPS PO Exam 2013 qualifiers looking at previous recruitment trends.
